Stealth in Raids: Night Tide

The official description says stealthyness is important. This page is what that actually means on a base.

Stealth Tactics

Prime of a Lime put it in the game description: stealthyness is important. They also sell a Stealth Gamepass for 199 Robux. Those two facts confuse people. Stealth is a playstyle the game expects for free. The Gamepass is a paid shortcut, not the only way to be quiet.

This page covers the free method first, then what the pass is for, then how stealth changes in Uptown versus a moonlit airport.

Free stealth, no Gamepass

Quiet in Raids: Night Tide is mostly positioning and trigger discipline.

  • Walk the last stretch. Sprint is for open dunes, not hangar aprons.
  • Lean before you peek. The HUD lists lean next to zoom for a reason.
  • Do not fire at cameras if you can loop around them. A missed camera shot is still a gunshot.
  • Use night vision as a toggle, not a flashlight. F cycles Light / Laser / Night Vision. A white light in a dark hangar is a flare.
  • Plant C4 instead of emptying a mag into a door. The explosion is loud but short. Thirty seconds of rifle fire is louder.
  • If you wipe a room, stop shooting. The next room has not aggro’d yet unless you kept the trigger down in the hallway.

Armor still matters. Stealth reduces how many people shoot you. It does not make a headshot friendly. Buy the vest from the gear hub before you try to be a ghost.

The Stealth Gamepass

The pass is listed at 199 Robux with no long store essay. Treat it as a paid stealth package, not a god mode. If you buy it, still play the free fundamentals. A visible sprint across a courtyard will get you shot with or without the pass.

Buy Stealth after VIP or Double XP only if you already clear small bases and you specifically hate detection. Recruits should spend Cash on guns first, Robux later. Compare that choice against Chinook and Extra Accessories on the vehicles and armor pages.

Drone Operator (249 Robux) is a different tool: information. A drone that spots a turret is stealth-adjacent. It is not silent movement.

Night maps versus daylight Uptown

The airport hangar under a full moon is the stealth postcard. Dark, fog, long shadows, easy to stack. Uptown is glass and daylight. Stealth there means using interiors, not darkness. Break line of sight through shops and parking structures. The Uptown clear is a speed route; this page is how you survive that route if you are under-geared.

Night vision helps more on the moonlit biome than in the city. Do not turn it on in daylight and assume you are invisible. You are just looking at a green city.

Alarms, turrets, and when to break stealth

Once an alarm is live, pretending to be stealthy is cosplay. Switch to the noisy half of how to raid: grenades, stacked doors, focus turrets, finish the objective. Resetting the whole base by dying on purpose is slower than committing.

Turrets punish peeking the same pixel twice. Change angle. If TURRETS the code paid for your vest, let the vest eat the first burst while you relocate — do not duel the turret from the same crate.

Squad stealth

One loud teammate deletes three quiet ones. Agree before the approach: no spraying dogs, no helicopter landing on the roof, no laser on in a dark hall. Squad roles should include a designated shooter so two people are not dumping mags at the same camera.

If a pub player is already loud, you have two honest options. Join the noise and finish faster, or leave for a different satellite base. You cannot stealth a compound that is already on fire.

Practice loop

  1. Redeem codes so a death is not a bankrupt death.
  2. Run one small airport or industrial base with no Scout ram.
  3. Count how many shots you fired before the objective. Fewer is better.
  4. Only then take that habit into a Fortress.

Stealth is not a moral rule. It is ammo math. Quiet raiders reach the document room with a full mag. Loud Recruits reload in the doorway.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Do I need the Stealth Gamepass?

No. The pass helps, but walking, leaning, and trigger discipline work on a free account.

Does night vision make me invisible?

No. It helps you see. A laser or flashlight can make you easier to see. Toggle F with intent.

Is stealth required for the Fortress?

Not as a rule, but arriving with HP and ammo is. Stealth is the cheapest way to arrive that way.

Can vehicles be stealthy?

A parked Scout around a corner is fine. A helicopter on the objective roof is not. See vehicles.
