Raids: Night Tide Getting Started

Recruit rank, ARX-160, 8k from codes, then a quiet first base — not a suicide run into Uptown.

Getting Started

You spawn as Recruit. Your primary is the ARX-160. Your pistol is a Glock 17. The garage already teases a Scout. The Shop already teases Gamepasses. None of that means you should sprint at the nearest Fortress. Raids: Night Tide is an open-world PvE shooter where stealth and a vest matter more than a loud first death.

This page is the first hour. It assumes you have not prestige’d, you may not have a squad yet, and you have not spent Cash. If you already cleared Uptown, use the Fortress walkthrough instead.

Minute one: HUD and loadout

Look at the bottom of the screen before you drive anywhere. You have hit points, weapon slots, and a prompt row. Slot 1 is your rifle. Slot 2 is your pistol. Slot 3 is a grenade or C4 once you own one. E is interact — that is how you plant C4 on a hangar door. F cycles light, laser, and night vision. Lean and zoom exist because corners kill Recruits who peak wide.

The AccelToWin session below is a full raid from Recruit through a document-burn objective. Watch the middle of this page, then come back for the buy order. It is not a cinematic trailer. It is the actual loop: Shop, Scout, stack, shoot, burn.

Community rewards on the same screen often include grenades. Take them. Free utility is still utility.

Minute two: redeem codes, then buy armor

Open Shop → Codes and paste TURRETS and CLANS from the codes hub. That is 8,000 Cash if both are still live. Do not buy a second pistol first. Buy a helmet and a vest. The armor page exists because unarmored Recruits lose HP in one turret burst.

After armor, upgrade the ARX-160. The AK-47 is the common next rifle for damage and control. The HUD in official stills also shows an AN-94 with a Deagle in slot 2. Either path is better than a Glock-only run. Rank those choices on the weapon tier list and spend with the Cash budget tool.

Skip night-vision cosmetics until you can finish a small base. Night vision is a toggle, not a personality.

Minute ten: a small base, not Uptown

Drive the Scout if the garage lets you. Do not ram the front gate at full speed. Park off-angle, walk in, and play the stealth guide. Small bases exist to unlock the Fortress in that biome. They also exist to teach you that AI hears gunfire.

A typical objective is not “kill everyone for a star rating.” It is “kill the defenders that block the objective, then burn the documents / plant the charge / hold the room.” The video above ends on a document burn. That is the template. Clear, interact, leave. Looting every crate while the alarm is live is how Recruits die with empty mags.

If the base has a turret line, TURRETS as a code name is not a coincidence. Use cover. Do not duels a turret with a Glock.

When to find a squad

The server holds 16 players. Squad play is the intended difficulty. You do not need voice chat — the game does not support Roblox voice. You need people who will stack a door instead of running in one at a time. Roles are spelled out on squad roles. If nobody is on your instance, still finish two small bases solo before you queue into Uptown. Uptown is urban, vertical, and full of angles. It is a terrible first map if your vest is still empty.

What to ignore on day one

  • Prestige and stars. You have not ranked enough. Read prestige after a Fortress, not before.
  • Chinook. The 199 Robux helicopter is real and huge. It is not a Recruit tool. See vehicles.
  • Scripts. There is no safe auto-raid for this game on the major lists. The scripts hub is a warning, not a download page.
  • Leaderboards. Highest prestige in the hundreds looks impressive. It is not a tutorial.

A first-session checklist

  1. Redeem live codes.
  2. Buy helmet + vest.
  3. Upgrade primary if Cash remains.
  4. Take grenades from community rewards.
  5. Clear one small base with a document or C4 objective.
  6. Only then open how to clear Uptown.

That is getting started. The rest of the wiki is for the hour after you stop dying to the first camera.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What gun do I start with?

ARX-160 primary and Glock 17 pistol. Upgrade the rifle before the pistol. AK-47 and AN-94 are the usual next step.

Should I buy a Gamepass on day one?

No. VIP 2x Cash and Double XP help later. Chinook is a late vehicle. Extra Accessories add loadout slots you do not need yet.

Is this game PvP?

No. It is PvE. Other players are squadmates on a 16-person server, not enemies.

How long is the first session?

Plan 30–45 minutes: codes, armor, one small base. Uptown and Fortress can wait for session two.
