Raids: Night Tide Vehicle Tier List
S for rotations, C for stealth — airframes ranked by how they help a raid, not how they look on a thumbnail.
Vehicles in Raids: Night Tide are support. This list ranks them for the job they actually do: getting a squad to a satellite or a Fortress without feeding turrets. Full playbook: vehicles guide. Gun rankings stay on weapons.
Rankings
| Vehicle | Tier | Best job | Worst job |
|---|---|---|---|
| Light helicopter | S | Fast biome hops, post-wipe returns | Quiet inserts, Uptown first clear |
| Scout car | A | Cheap rotations, off-angle parking | Ramming doors, fighting from the seat |
| Chinook (Gamepass) | A | Squad taxi onto a back slope | Stealth, turret roofs, Recruit wallets |
Light helicopter is S because time is the hidden currency. A bird that puts you on the next marker before the squad gets bored is worth more than a prettier bus. It drops to C the moment you hover over an uncleared courtyard.
Scout is A because everyone can use it and it does not require 199 Robux. Recruits should live here. Park it like you love it. Crash it like you do not.
Chinook is A, not S, because it costs Robux and it is huge. Huge is great for four raiders. Huge is a barn door for every turret on the Fortress lawn. Buy it when you have a regular squad and a Fortress habit. The store line — “the biggest of them all” — is a warning as much as a boast.
Unranked on purpose
Armored ground vehicles are promised in the description. Until we can name a specific hull that is in the garage today, it is not on this table. We will not invent an APC.
Drone Operator is recon, not a vehicle, so it sits in gear and the vehicles guide as a spotting tool.
Stealth modifier
If your plan is the stealth guide, every airframe drops a letter. Blades announce you. Engines announce you. A parked Scout around a corner is the only stealth-friendly vehicle on this list, and even then you walk the last stretch.
Uptown specifically: ground > air for the first clear. The Uptown route is city blocks, not a landing strip.
Spend order
- Free Scout until it feels slow
- Light helicopter when garage offers it
- Chinook if your squad is real and you are tired of chains
- Never before a vest and an S-tier rifle
Cash and Robux are different wallets. Do not skip codes because you are saving for a helicopter cosmetic. The raid still happens on foot.
Related loadouts
A vehicle does not replace slot 1. The loadout tier list assumes you dismount. If your kit only works from a Chinook ramp, it is not a kit, it is a cutscene.
If a patch adds a named armored truck, it will enter this table as A until it survives a turret line. Do not pre-rank a hull from the description’s emoji. The Scout earned A by existing in the garage on day one.
Crash recovery is part of the rank. A helicopter that dumps you in water next to Uptown is a worse taxi than a Scout you can flip back onto its wheels. Fly like ammo is expensive even when VIP is paying Cash.
Practice landings on the airport apron, not on the Fortress roof. A Scout you can park is worth more than a Chinook you can only crash. The controls page will not fly the bird for you.
Rank the airframe for the insert. Rank the rifle for the room. Do not mix those sentences.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What is the best vehicle for solo?
Scout, then a light helicopter for returns. Chinook is a squad toy.
Why is Chinook not S-tier?
It is large, loud, and paid. Excellent taxi. Poor stealth. Easy turret food on a roof.
Should Recruits buy the Chinook?
No. Buy a vest and a rifle with Cash. Robux helicopters wait until Fortresses are routine.
Is there a tank?
The description mentions armored vehicles. This list only ranks hulls we can confirm in the garage today.
